365.2 "Tiny Turtle"

So these are the little creatures that no one ever really sees in my videos. They sit right in front of my coffee mug that has all the pens in it, but because they are rather small they don't really get seen at all.

The little turtle in the foreground is a gift from a former housemate when I was a volunteer. For some reason--I was never quite sure when/how it started--this particular housemate began calling all of the other housemates "Tiny Turtles" and it just simply stuck with us. Even know when we talk to her we call each other Tiny Turtles. The little glass creature was sent to all of us the first Christmas after we all moved out of the house in 2009.

The little glass ladybug is also a token from my time as a volunteer. It was sitting in the windowsill of my room in the house when I moved in, and I saw it almost everyday, so I decided when I moved out that I would take it as a reminder, not knowing that soon afterward I would get the Tiny Turtle in the mail.

Also, any feedback you have on my photos, feel free to leave them in the comments of this blog. I don't generally use any editing software, I just post whatever it is that comes out of the camera. That is mainly due to the fact that I wouldn't really even know where to start with photo editing software at this point. I would like to take a class in it over the summer, but we'll have to see how the funds work out.

  1. I think my camera is no longer properly focusing on anything...

It's a bit old and I haven't used it in ages, so it's not really any surprise that it's beginning to die, it's just not very good for this project as a whole if my camera isn't going to take the great pictures it used to take anymore....

  2. Forget the class, just play about with image editing.
