365.21 Mouse

The time has finally come to retire my mouse. I bought this mouse about 5 years ago and have used it for everything. When I initially bought it, my intention was to use it solely as a gaming peripheral because at the time I was playing a lot of PC games and needed a good high resolution mouse to be able to compete. However, I've basically given up most of my PC gaming, I still occasionally boot up Half-Life 2 or Portal and play, but generally speaking I don't game much at all.

Now I basically have gotten so used to the feeling of this mouse that I'm afraid to get anything else (I'm not a huge fan of changes to long established familiarities) but I simply HAVE to get a new mouse. I searched EVERYWHERE to buy this exact same mouse online, but apparently it's not being made at all anymore, so I'm stuck having to upgrade. My current mouse has fallen victem to the "ghosting click" problem that happens with many mice that are this old. Basically the sensors in the buttons have worn down and are registering a single click as a double--or sometimes triple--click. Normally this isn't a problem, but it gets REALLY annoying when I'm trying to edit a video and it registers a double click and I lose my place in the timeline.

Anyway, I got a Razer Deathadder 3500 High Precision 3.5G Infrared Gaming Mouse this go around, it has 2 fewer buttons, but I think I'll be ok, I barely ever use the 6th&7th button on my current mouse, but I do use the 4th&5th ALL THE TIME, so I needed to keep those.

That is all I want to type tonight...

P.S. I do play on my PS3 pretty often, if you wanna get together you can find me here:
