365.3 Winter Garden

I spent a few hours today in the garden, turning over compost and refilling my raised plots. We didn't really get good crops last season because life exploded just as the heaviest amount of care and love needed to be given to the garden plots. so the garden has basically been sitting in a state of disrepair for a long time. Today was one of the first times I've been out working in the garden at all since I went and pulled all of the crops up in September.

The problem with working in the garden in the winter however, is that it is friggen cold outside and as a result I couldn't get my hands to stop shaking from both fatigue and general freeziness. This is the best shot I could get given my shaky hands and the tendency for my camera to not have the greatest focusing ability anymore.

I'm really hoping that within the next few months I will be upgrading to a much better Canon DSLR camera, in the meantime I may just start shooting pictures with my video camera, it has a better lens and it's focus is much sharper, it just doesn't have the design for picture taking. Oh well, it may be a stretch in creative photo skills for me, or could force me to get off my butt and learn some editing software... *shrug*

Also, in case you missed it, I posted a new Video Today as well:

  1. Not every picture can be perfect. Professional photographers can wait for days or weeks to take their perfect picture. they just don't show the crappy ones because it spoils the illusion of perfection.
